This series of transfer units consists of a large load-bearing steel ball running on several smaller support balls contained within a zinc-plated carbon steel "dish" style housing, allowing the large ball to rotate freely. Surface Mount ball transfer units have holes on the flange which allow the user to securely fasten down and secure the ball transfer unit onto a flat surface for greater stability.
