Description
Major Brand Plain Bearing Housings: These robust units come pre-mounted with DU or DX steel-backed bearings, ready to handle shaft misalignments up to 15° with no need for precise alignment during installation.
Self-aligning design simplifies fitting and eliminates edge loading, ensuring full use of DU/DX performance. The bearings offer long life with minimal maintenance, and no press-fit is required during assembly. With low unit, assembly, and operating costs, they deliver excellent value.
Available in plummer block, two-bolt, and four-bolt flange mountings, in metric (10–100mm) and inch (½"–4") sizes, all supplied ex-stock. Standard housings are grey cast iron, with other materials available on request.
DU is ideal for dry, high-temperature operation up to 280°C. DX suits greased applications up to 120°C, with performance extended by periodic re-lubrication.
