Description
HT270 Series High-Temperature Range Deep Groove Ball Bearings: With an operating range from minus 25 degrees up to plus 270 degrees Celsius these bearings are ideally situated in arduous conditions where rapid temperature changes are expected, refrigeration and baking equipment being a good example. Of standard ball bearing construction with an increased clearance to compensate for thermal expansion, they are manufactured with metal shields inserted into the outer raceway, these fit in close proximity to the inner race providing protection against light mechanical damage, some protection against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign matter and serve to retain the pre-filled NLGI scale 2-3 grease in the bearing. The bearings have a black manganese phosphate coating to all outer surfaces
