Description
NAK TG FKM Oil Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. They are engineered to facilitate the smooth operation of your equipment, serving as a barrier to prevent the leakage of oils and greases while also keeping foreign substances from entering. TG type seals have a special design of corrugated nitrile rubber on the outside diameter. These types are particularly suitable for applications where the housing material is subject to large thermal expansion, i.e. aluminium housings. The TG type features a sealing FKM rubber lip on the inside diameter as well as an external dust lip. The TG types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.)
